Baby Pics
So Cade had his pictures taken at school a few weeks ago and they came in the other night. They were all too cute! He posed in every picture with a huge smile on his face. Geez at the price though! I had to eliminate a few Thanksgiving dishes to be able to compensate for how much I spent on the pictures. I just couldn't let them take any of them away though.....I kept thinking about what they do with the ones not purchased. I didn't want his pics to wind up in the shredder so I splurged. I brought them home and Justin thought that they were really good too.....but he did point out one thing......my baby looks cross-eyed in all of them. I guess I had my mommy glasses on because I didn't even notice that when I was looking at them, but he does. He is cross-eyed in every single one! I decided to go back and look at all of the pictures I took of him and low and behold he is cross-eyed in all of those too! What the heck? After viewing other pics I went and took a good look at Cade to see if I just hadn't noticed and if my little guy's eyes really are like this. Whew....After inspection, I realized that it is just in his pics. I hope that this is something that he outgrows. I know that it is not a big deal, I just think it is funny how every time the camera comes out, the eyes go in. HA! I would love him no matter what......cross-eyed, lazy eyed, wide eyed, etc. He is my man....just wanted to share a cute quirk that we discovered.

Cabo
Justin and I just returned from Cabo last night. It was a much needed get away and we had a blast but we are extremely happy to be back home. I did okay the first two nights away from my baby but the third was pretty bad. I don't think that I have ever missed anyone or anything so much! He was definitely spoiled rotten by his two grandma's but I don't know if I can leave him for that long again.

Oh my gosh!!! Justin and I are about to celebrate our third anniversary and we are going to do so in CABO! I can't believe that we are going to leave our little guy for four entire days! It makes me feel nauseous just thinking about it. I know that we will have a great time and need the rest........but I really, really, really want to take Cade with me. I ran the idea by Justin......no go. Cade will be splitting the time between grandma's and I know that he will be spoiled rotten but Justin is going to have to push me onto the plane. I just have this morbid fear of the plane crashing and Cade having to grow up parentless or that we will be kidnapped in Mexico and never return. When did I start to worry about things like this??? (I do have an idea where the worry has come from......thanks mom!! Afterall, you can't talk on your cell phone while pumping gas or it will ignite a spark and blow up your car......right???HA!) For all you that don't know my mom, she worries about EVERYTHING......EVERY MINUTE..........EVERY DAY. We have been to Mexico numerous times and feel safer there than here so I don't know why I am driving myself crazy thinking about these things. It is absolutely crazy how your priorities and responsibilities and worries change when you have a baby. I would be happy never leaving our neighborhood again just to know that we would all be safe. Justin has promised me that we will return safe and sound and that Cade will still know that I am his mommy when we get back. Don't be surprised though....if I decide to cancel minutes before we leave!!!

Well, I think Cade's virus is out to win a marathon. Yes, I said virus. I knew that dern doctor that we went to last week wasn't on target when he said that Cade had croup. Last night, Cade was wheezing more than he has been and when I took his temp., it was 102.6. I called his nurse line and they told me to take him to Children's just to be on the safe side. So I load Cade up in the car with Justin at work and we head to Children's. We got there and saw the doc. who gave the new diagnosis of a bronchial virus. He received a breathing treatment.........which was a ton of fun trying to keep a little breathing mask on a five month old! We were sent home with breathing treatments to do all day today and tonight. So my little man is at home with his daddy for now and gets to spend this afternoon with me! Please let him feel better by tomorrow!!
