It's official! Today is the day that I have to use the rubber band trick as a waist extender for my pants!! It's about time! Now I just wish that I could find some cute/cheap maternity clothes.

Well Baby Forrester has been kicking like crazy lately! It is extremely light and just feels like little butterflies, but it starts early in the morning and then goes off and on throughout the day. (I hope this isn't a sign of his sleeping patterns because it starts wayyyyy to early for me:) I don't know how we are going to be able to make it for twenty more weeks!! I can't wait to meet the new Mr. Forrester!

So Justin and I went to the doctor on Monday to find out if it is a boy or a girl and as you know it is definately a boy. Mr. Cade Robert (maybe his name) did not want to cooperate and he tried his best to hide his identity. We finally got the confirmation of the sex. The ultrasound tech kept trying to get a look at his facial structure but the baby had his hand over his face so we couldn't see a thing. When the tech pushed on my stomach to try and get him to move, he flipped over and showed us his butt. Looks like he has some of his mom's stubborn gene. We get to take another look on the 18th so maybe he won't be camera shy.

After the doctor appointment, I took Justin home so that he could rest as he has been working late and I went on a mini shopping spree. I found some really cute firefighter onesies so that Cade can be like his daddy from the start. This is going to be a looooooooooong 5 months! We can't wait!

IT' A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I have been pretty short of breath for the past few weeks and my cardiologist decided that he wanted me to go ahead and come in to check it out. For those that don't know, I had open heart surgery when I was a baby so I go and get checked out every other year. He wanted me to come in for a fetal echocardiogram on Feb. 1st but the shortness of breath pushed it up to today............anyway... everything with my heart looked great. There was nothing that he saw that would contribute to the shortness of breath. I am wearing a heart monitor for the day to make sure the rhythm is on track but that's it. He also looked over the baby's heart and it looks great as well. We saw the face, eyes, arms, legs, feet, chest, heart.........but no boy or girl parts yet. We thought that we would get a sneak peak before Monday but no luck! So the countdown remains..........3..........

11 long days to go.....(hopefully baby will cooperate so that we will find out on the 21st! Can you tell that I am anxious??)
