Update.........

I had my ten week check-up yesterday and everything went great. I received another ultrasound as it is still too early to hear the baby's heartbeat with just the doppler. The baby had his/her hands in the air giving a "thumbs up". The heartbeat was 173bpm so that is good and strong. We will not get to see our little one again for ten more weeks....then it will be time to find out if "it" is a he or she. I can't wait!! I will post new ultrasound pics soon.

Going Strong

I still don't have any of the "bad" symptoms worth complaining about. I have been going to sleep around 7 every night (which is extrememly early to usual) and I have wanted to eat about eight meals a day....but if that is as bad as it is going to get then I can definately handle this pregnancy thing.

To add to the "Going Strong' title, Justin and I just celebrated our 2nd anniversary. He always remembers when it is because it took place on two of the biggest football games....Bama vs. LSU and AU vs. GA. I will never live that down. Anyway, we both had to work so we just got a quick bite to eat and headed home. We stopped off for one of my favorites......cake n shake from Coldstone which hit the spot. I had some flowers waiting on me when I got home which was a sweet surprise. I have definately been blessed.

Better

Well, the nausea has seemed to be giving me a break lately (hopefully for good). I don't see how some people can deal with that for an entire pregnancy. I'm sure that I am not out of the woods yet but I am definately enjoying the break.

Oh the joys of pregnancy........

Well, it's official. The nausea has set in and doesn't feel like it is ever going to go away! Justin has been extremely great and is spoiling me so much that I may have to "keep the nausea" for 9 months. But really, hopefully it will end soon and I will be able to sit up without feeling sick. I thought that I was going to be one of the lucky ones and surpass this symptom.....maybe next time.

Big News!!

Big announcement! Drumroll........We are expecting our first little one. We had our six week check-up yesterday and got to see and hear the heartbeat. It was amazing. The due date is right around my husband's birthday, June 21st. We are very excited and can't wait to meet our little one.
